A few weeks back, I had the privilege of photographing one of the coolest bridal showers I had ever seen. No one told me that it was themed before hand. When I pulled up to the house, I honestly thought I was at the wrong address and walked out. I thought something was happening for a Royal the way people were dressed. It was a High Tea/Alice and Wonderland themed shower that was completely DIY. The bride’s, Brittany, mother, aunts, and cousin all worked together to put together this incredible day. It was so special. I had to share all of the details here because it was straight out of my Pinterest dreams.
The teapot centerpieces were Brittany’s grandmothers. Brittany loves potions so they made sangria that smoked and little bottles that said “drink me” and changed colors. The flower arrangements were put together by her little cousins. The food was made by everyone as a team. The little tea cups were all personalized. I was in shock. It is so rare that this many people would team up together to go above and beyond with thoughtfulness. You could feel how loved Brittany was and how much she appreciated it. It was so beautiful and I’m so happy I got to witness it.
