12 Winter Styles You Need to Steal from Real NY Women

Happy New Year ya’ll,

As soon as New Years is over, I am over the winter and ready to head back to my sunny, Fire Island life. Winter is my absolute favorite clothing season, but its so hard to get dressed in NY when it’s freezing and windy so I rarely ever do it. I needed to find some new outfit inspiration and I’m so obsessed with what I found.

I was meticulous about choosing outfit ideas from girls who absolutely slay the fashion game without slaying my wallet. Their outfits keep me inspired and when I swipe up to “get the look” I don’t get blindsided by a $500 price tag.

I’m actually really tired of looking at my favorite fashion bloggers/influencers and loving a look, only for it to feel completely unattainable. Quite sick of the mental conversation I have with myself “I would have the best clothes if I was rich, if I had brand deals, if, if, if.” Real women are strutting the streets of NY everyday, hustling and looking damn good while doing it. & Heres your proof…

Let me know your favorite styles. Would love to hear some of your favorite go to winter trends.

XOXO

“loving a look, only for it to feel completely unattainable” the amount of times I’ve thought this! I can’t with these bloggers and their thousand dollar bags & $300 blouses. I love fashion style not fashion brands, and while I do love the occasional luxury design, I respect the ability to put together an outfit and make it ‘wow’ without always resorting to every single look from head to toe designer.

    👏🏻 Nice post

I feel you! It drives me nuts. I’m so much more impressed by people who look amazing in outfits that anyone could afford to buy
